DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a full-time DevOps engineer to help us develop and maintain the infrastructure that delivers software to our customers.

You will work in our Milan office with a vibrant team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Who you are

• You are a passionate DevOps engineer whose main responsibility will be enabling the delivery of our software products using a set of modern technologies and platforms, including Docker, Terraform, and AWS.

• You are interested in back-end architectures, and you’re curious about writing back-end services using Scala (if you know Scala already, that’s even better; however, it’s not required!)

• While writing software will be a major component of your job, you will also collaborate closely with a team of designers, software engineers, and project managers to challenge and understand product requirements from a business perspective.

• You are comfortable talking to clients to discuss their business needs and turning those needs into product requirements.

• You are proactive, autonomous, and don’t like to be micro-managed. You love exploring new things, and you are able to evaluate the pros and cons of what you learn.

• You have a thing for good UX, whether it’s in the products you make for a client or in an internal tool used by your colleagues. You strive for perfection, and you know when to make the appropriate trade-offs.

• You like designing secure systems, and you know that such systems are not “sprinkled on top” of the products; rather, they’re part of a thoughtful effort that is baked into the entire process of software design and development.

• You are curious and have many interests (that you want to share with us!), and you enjoy sharing your knowledge and experiences with your co-workers.

• You speak Italian fluently and English proficiently.
