Beschreibung

iwoca is breaking down the barriers that stop Europe’s 20 million small businesses from accessing finance. Traditional bank loans have slow application processes, inflexible terms and burdensome criteria. In contrast, we use cutting-edge technology to offer flexible access to credit with a five minute application process and a decision in hours.Since 2012, we've made finance available to over 50,000 businesses across Europe and lent over £1 billion.

Our customers include everything from cafés to car dealers, salons to solicitors. Along the way we have built a sophisticated technology platform, won numerous awards and grown a fun, and vibrant team. However, we’re still near the start of our journey – our aim is to finance a million small businesses within a decade and so we need more smart, hands-on people to help us reach this goal.We work hard to make iwoca a place where everyone feels welcome, where you can confidently be yourself.

Requirements

We are seeking an energetic and curious graduate commercial analyst to join iwocaPay and assist in the delivery of regular commercial insights to the Sales and Operations teams. This will involve working in close collaboration with the senior analyst, and across various product teams. Your analyses will enable the team to streamline operational processes while ensuring that the product, and the people that make it possible, run more efficiently.

To succeed in this role you will need to be a highly numeric individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem solving. While you will have a number of core projects which aim to address the wider product strategy, you will also be regularly called upon by other members of the team to run ad-hoc analyses. Answering the team’s burning questions will assist them in making quick decisions and gaining greater clarity on their performance as an individual, and that of the product at a higher level.

Commercial Strategy and Process Optimisation

  • Assistance on core projects covering topics ranging from process optimisation to retrospective reviews of previous product performance
  • Contribute to the shaping and improvement of Sales & Ops performance and commercial strategies in order to achieve our growth plans
  • Support the senior analyst in regular reviews of business processes, forecasts, and KPI performance
  • Collect, analyse, and manage data to generate clear insights that can be used to optimise business performance and operational efficiency

Insight Delivery

  • Deliver ad-hoc analyses e.g. recent sales funnel dynamics, requested by the wider iwocaPay team promptly and to a high standard
  • Maintain an oversight of ad-hoc requests, and use this to proactively anticipate future requests to improve efficiency and turnaround times in delivering insights
  • Support members of the Sales & Ops team on a day to day basis with data related requests and pipeline forecasting

Data Management

  • Work across both iwocaPay and the core business to ensure that all necessary data sources are accurate, accessible, and in an appropriate format for immediate analysis
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of Hubspot workflows, data management, and analyses
  • Maintain data integrity within customer records in CRM and other systems

KPI Monitoring

  • Work closely with the Senior Analyst to identify and define the ideal metrics by which to monitor and report on product and team success
  • Create and maintain reporting and dashboards for the Ops team that focus on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
  • Enable the accurate monitoring of all operational processes across the sales and operations funnel
  • Provide regular detailed insights into the Sales & Ops performance against key operational metrics, and strategies improvements and additions that could be made to this monitoring

Key Competencies

  • Educated to degree level in a numerical subject or equivalent work experience
  • Applicants should come to the role with an eagerness to learn new skills, and a natural curiosity in proactively identifying, breaking down, and solving complex business problems
  • Experience in delivering analytical projects as part of your degree, internship, or job
  • Experience analysing large datasets using various business analysis tools and languages e.g. excel/Looker/Tableau/SQL
  • Experience transforming quantitative data and research into qualitative insights and strategies
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple work streams and stakeholders when tasks are set with various timelines and levels of urgency
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude that’s enthusiastic about working in an ambitious, team-orientated, start-up environment
  • A quick learner with a can-do positive attitude
  • Adaptability to work in a small cross functional but also with key contacts in our core business while also working independently and have an organised, methodical approach, as you will be entrusted with high impact tasks from day one
