We are looking for a Program Lead for our Engineering Mentoring Program to start immediately in our office in Berlin, Germany!

You will be leading the next phase of our Engineering Mentoring Program, named Babbel Neos, wherein you will shape the concept, train mentors, hire participants and help them grow. The primary goal of the Babbel Neos program is to bring early career engineers quickly to a level where they can contribute to an engineering team.

    We are looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO (freelance) for our team in Berlin!

    You’ll be working with our CEO and founder, supporting him in every aspect of his day-to-day business. You’ll be playing a key role in our quest to constantly improve our product, and our team’s abilities to succeed. If you’re highly proactive and have the clear judgement to confidently prioritise in an ever changing environment, we need you to support our Chief Executive Officer!

    You will

  • Proactively manage the CEO’s very busy and constantly changing diary
  • Work across the business to ensure that CEO focus is on the most strategic issues of the moment. Act as a representative in key discussions
  • Manage reporting cadence across the team, ensuring everyone has the right information when it’s needed
  • Support the CEO in all areas of his daily work, including ad hoc research or travel arrangements, greeting visitors, company events and talks etc.
  • Prepare and follow-up from meetings, including research, creating presentations and briefings, logistics and set up as well as communication of key decisions

    About the Role:

    As a Digital Production Designer you will make the Babbel brand come to life creatively. You will develop and deliver a range of cross-platform creative that evokes the Babbel brand, and speaks to our target consumers.     Working closely with Manager, Digital Design, you will create amazing work that will drive consumers to engage with and subscribe to Babbel. From driving top-of-the-funnel brand awareness via clever and engaging creative to bottom-of-the-funnel throughput for subscriber growth, your work will have its imprint on every touch point in a customer’s journey with Babbel.

    You’ll be developing:

  • Banner ads for display advertising platforms with the goal of improving our click-through rates, experience with HTML5 is a plus
  • A range of creative formats for Paid Social including Facebook, Instagram and other social platforms with the goal of improving our app installs
  • Landing pages that drive consumers to act, i.e, register and subscribe. You’ll iterate on these designs based on in-market test data
  • Emails to our leads and our subscribers with the goal of driving clicks, subscriptions and engagement/retention
  • Occasional designs for other formats such as print, on-screen video graphics, PPT documents, and the like
  • Key Job Requirements Are:

  • At least 1+years’ track record of delivering market-ready assets
  • Experience in B2C tech company, start-up experience will come in handy

    About the Role:

    As the Email Marketing Manager, you will report to and work closely with our Senior CRM Manager in developing, maintaining, and executing our entire life-cycle strategy. You will also collaborate with our international CRM team based in Berlin, Germany.

    Email is a key driver in converting our leads and retaining our subscribers. You’ll play a major role in helping us reach our ambitious goals in driving engagement, conversion and retention. You’ll be responsible for engaging Babbel users at the top of the funnel and driving sales growth at the bottom of the funnel by developing and deploying creative CRM solutions encompassing both email and Push. You will maintain our existing email marketing strategy and build out new programs with an eye toward lead nurturing, life-cycle messaging, subscriber growth, churn prevention, and LTV improvement.

    If you are a talented email enthusiast with a love of languages who can creatively tell a story based on data, read on! With a proven e-commerce track record, you prefer to test, segment, and personalize rather than “batch-and-blast.” You know email best practices but would prefer to push the limits of what’s possible (safely). We’re a collaborative bunch and you’re looking forward to working on a tight-knit team.

    Specific Duties Include:

  • Working closely with the Sr. Manager to develop and execute a high-volume lifecycle email marketing strategy
  • Identifying, taking ownership of, and executing new programs that will accelerate Babbel’s US sales growth
  • Creating and executing data-driven, segmented, personalized, dynamic campaigns delivered to the right people at the right time

    You will be:

  • responsible for the Onpage optimization, monitoring its success and working on ranking analysis;
  • working in collaboration with the engineering team;
  • optimizing and enhancing indexing and tracking of robots;
  • managing Google Search Console properties and other onpage tools (MOZ, Search Metrics) in order to identify and fix issues such as errors, links, site speed through technical SEO;
