We are looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization Manager for our Team in Berlin!


We're looking for a CRO Manager to be part of a growing CRO team here in Berlin! You'll be working within the Performance Marketing team, which has been a pillar of Babbel’s commercial strategy for several years. At the centre of our efforts is Conversion Rate Optimization, where we use data to help us learn about our customers and improve the user experience and conversion rates.


You will:


  • Find opportunities: use a range of research methods to give us a better understanding of our customers’ goals, needs and behaviours. This means using a mixture of qual and quant research
  • Create hypotheses: use insights from your own research and gather ideas from stakeholders to form strong, testable hypotheses. Write experiment plans, determine valuable metrics and design meaningful tests that add value and insights
  • Run experiments: use your knowledge of statistics to identify the difference between noise in the data and a real result. Use experimentation to give us deep and accurate insights into customer behaviour. Ensure that tests are designed to maximise insights into who our customers are and how they behave
  • Coordinate and collaborate: work alongside colleagues in Marketing, Analytics, Product and Design
  • Share: engage people around the business in CRO. We want to create a culture of experimentation and sharing successes, failures and stories helps us to do that. You’ll present, discuss and hold workshops with stakeholders and senior management

You have:


  • Valuable experience working in CRO, UX or analytics roles
  • An organised and methodical approach to CRO
  • A good knowledge of statistics. This means understanding sample sizes, statistical power, significance and when an experiment result is meaningful
  • Hands-on experience using VoC surveys, session replay, remote usability testing and analytics tools
  • Experience sketching and wireframing to convey design ideas
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Some knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript would be beneficial
  • A passion for innovation, technology and CRO
