Changing the way the language learning is done is a great challenge, so we are looking for a CRM Manager (Western Europe - France and Benelux) to join our Berlin Mitte office.


 
Responsibilities for the role:

CRM at Babbel means: guiding registered users through their lifecycle, inform them how online language learning with Babbel works, convert them into customers, help them master their learning language and stay active learners.


  • Plan, develop & execute cross-channel CRM campaigns leveraging email, mobile push & webpush
  • Maximise Babbel's revenue by converting leads into loyal customers
  • Create and manage Sales campaigns in accordance with performance targets
  • Create Lifecycle campaigns to increase conversion rates and customer engagement
  • Ensure communications are customer-centric and insight driven
  • Set up and analyse A/B tests to gain insights into consumer behaviour
  • Build and maintain successful relationships across all key departments/stakeholders
 
Requirements:
  • 1+ year Email or Push Marketing experience in a performance-driven environment, including customer retention and/or loyalty programs
  • Understanding of HTML & email best practices
  • Familiar with Excel & SQL
  • Creativity and decent copywriting skills
  • Data-driven person with good analytical thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn, willingness to ‘walk the extra mile’ to make sure everything is just right
  • Good understanding of Email Marketing KPIs & ability to actively analyze campaigns
  • Communicative team player
  • Fluent in English
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in French

It would be considered a plus if the candidate features one/some of the following:


  • Understanding of user life-cycles in an online subscription business
  • Project Management experience
  • Familiar with one of the key ESPs (Emarsys is a distinct advantage)
  • Good understanding of GDPR and its implications on CRM
