We are looking for a Quantitative User Experience Researcher to join our Product Design team in Berlin!


As a Quantitative UX Researcher at Babbel you will drive our product development teams, who rely on qualitative and quantitative research results to help us better understand learners’ behaviours and needs. You will identify necessary metrics, measure behaviour and attitudes, and introduce new methodologies into our current work.


You will be:


  • Identifying opportunities for utilizing quant methods to better understand user behaviour and attitudes
  • Synthesising findings to directly inform UX improvements for Babbel.com and within our apps
  • Collaborating with qualitative researchers
  • Working cross-functionally with teams like Product Design, Product Management, Instructional Design, Product Marketing, and Engineering to define UX goals and metrics
  • Identifying any additional tools Babbel needs to execute proper quantitative research

You have:


  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Statistics,Psychology, a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in applied research
  • Knowledge and experience with industry standard tools
  • Experience gathering and analyzing large data sets
  • Knowledge of qual methodologies
  • Knowledge of UX design principles
  • Excellent English speaking and writing ability
  • Fluent in Spanish, French, German or Italian is a plus
