To help us fulfill this ambition, you will join a dedicated agile cross-skills squad, operating as a mini-startup within BlaBlaCar. The squad is comprised of tier one profiles with a strong entrepreneurial mindset: product manager, software engineers, UX designer, data analyst. To further propel the mission of this squad, you will work alongside your colleagues to design and measure experiments on our platform, build models, and uncover new insights about pricing and matching dynamics at BlaBlaCar.

What you will directly contribute to:

• Designing and running experiments our our two-sided marketplace to identify the drivers and root causes of marketplace trends

• Building causal and predictive models to explain pricing and matching dynamics on our platform

• Analyzing and investigating large data sets to help drive business decisions, both strategic and operational

• Teaming up with other internal squads to bring a scientific approach to solve a range of business problems

• As the first economist at BlaBlaCar, evangelize the experiment mindset
