As local Head of Bus operations and Supply, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to building a new bus vertical at BlaBlaCar. We are looking for someone who has the grit and motivation to join the entrepreneurial adventure.Your mission is to kick-start and oversee our bus activity in Italy. In this role you will grow your skills in operational excellence, ability to find out-of-the box solutions, and organisation. You will have multiple internal and external stakeholders, and will embrace a wide scope of tasks from ground negotiations to strategic thinking.

As such, the role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, ability to handle various operational situations, inter-personal skills and a strong commitment. You will report directly to the Italian country manager of BlaBlaCar in charge of both our carpooling and bus activities.

What you will directly contribute to:

• Managing bus partners and procuring the transports

• Organizing the execution of the transports: managing the stops, presence in stations

• Ensuring security and quality, setting up crisis management process

• Building up strong relationships with local authorities

• Influencing local and central network strategy

• Working in tight relationship with local Sales & Marketing team, as well as Central Network & Pricing teams

• Structuring the operational processes for the rollout of this new business line

• Hiring and managing a team that can scale these operations
