Job Description

As BlaBlaCar pursues its ambitious development in France & Benelux on carpooling, buses and commuting, we need to increase the awareness, adoption, and distribution of all three products.

As Head of Marketing & Distribution, you will lead the following teams & topics:

  • Local Marketing

  • Offline Distribution

  • Pricing & commercial animation

You will report to the General Manager France & Benelux, and work very closely with the VP Marketing & her teams.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Owning local marketing strategy and budget and following the execution of campaigns against the brands seasonal key stories and local objectives for France & Benelux : including but not limited to marketing plans development, budget management and spend optimization, channels strategy, local media buy, negotiation with local OTAs. Includes both offline & online, both acquisition & retention (managing a team of ~5+)

  • Owning the commercial animation of the France & Benelux lines (synchronizing all marketing channels to tactically promote certain destinations at very specific times) and the pricing of both bus & carpool businesses

  • Accompanying, animating, and optimising network of B2B offline distribution of bus tickets in France & Benelux (managing a team of ~3+)

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful:

  • A minimum of 7 years of proven marketing experience, both online & offline, ideally in a high-growth environment

  • Strategic ability that ensures projects deliver against business objectives

  • Proven ability to successfully develop and execute major multi-channel marketing campaigns

  • Very strong data and analytical skills

  • Proven experience in team management

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Proactive, hard-working and solutions-oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Native level of French, fluent in English
