What you will contribute to:

• Leading & inspiring a team of 2-3 senior individual contributors;

• Setting standards, refining and operationalizing Product Design process in partnership with Leadership team;

• Ensuring the Design Team is working well cross functionally with product and engineering colleagues;

• Defining, maintaining and elevating high quality tools such as Design System & Prototyping

• Overseeing Design Team budget, supporting team health & education;

• Getting support functions such as Research and Content Strategy involved on the right projects, at the right time;

• Facilitating team recognition by building a strong cross-functional collaboration and bringing visibility to Design work.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful:

• 5-8+ years of hands on user experience design or design project management

• Previous experience in managing designers (or burning desire to learn how to)

• Understanding the design process, as well as product development and engineering principles

• Design System principles and Prototyping

• Passionate about processes, workflows and systemic solutions

• Tenacious and driven person

• Calm in ambiguous and changing environment

• Humility, structure, passion, sense of humor, and action-oriented attitude

• Fluency in English
