Job Description

Why join us?

The Legal Intern will work alongside an international team of 9 lawyers based in the center of Paris. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on exposure to multiple legal topics in France, the EU, and internationally: regulatory, contracts, intellectual property, compliance, etc.. 

What you will directly contribute to: 

You will be involved with the team in the following projects and activities: 

• Performing legal research and ensure legal monitoring

• Participating in the drafting and negotiation of contracts 

• Contributing to set-up of reliable and up-to-date legal process documentation

• Ensuring the follow-up of pre-litigation / litigation

• Advising all teams of BlaBlaCar on various subjects (consumption law, contract law, IP law, competition law, digital law etc)

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful: 

• You are an “EDA” (Ecole des Avocats) student and / or have a Master II in law, ideally in digital law, distribution / consumption or economic / competition.

• Fluency in English

• You already have prior internship experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced work environment

• You are humble, structured, organized, motivated and result-oriented

• You enjoy working as a team-player and learning from others

• You are motivated, proactive and able to move projects forward

• Contract: 6-months internship (not less)

• Compensation: 1 000 euros monthly gross
