Job Description

Why join us:

You will be the first Product Marketing person at BlaBlaCar, with the opportunity to bring value from day 1 and participate in shaping the role and mission for the long run. With awareness and adoption metrics in mind, you will be responsible for building the right strategy to bring to market our major product evolutions and new products successfully, across all our markets (10+). 

Success in this role means developing breakthrough outreach/marketing initiatives that connect BlaBlaCar consumer audience to our products — helping people see the benefits, inspires them to try, and excites them to tell their friends and family

What you will contribute to:


  • Develop a deep understanding of BlaBlaCar ecosystem and competition landscape

  • Generate qual/quant insights with immersive customer-centric methodologies

  • Engage with cross-functional partners with actionable, data-driven insights to influence product and marketing strategy

  • Create inspiring consumer narrative through positioning, audience targeting, and product storytelling

Go to Market

  • Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive successful product launches through different channels (owned, paid, PR)

  • Lead go to market roll-out for existing and new products - focusing on launch, positioning, messaging, pricing, competitive analysis, and internal communications


  • Lead a team of a Senior Researcher and a Content Strategist. Elevate Individuals, organize 1:1 coaching, provide thoughtful feedback and make your team grow

  • Build senior-level relationships with Marketing, Brand, Customer Relation Team and Corporate communication to ensure alignment and message consistency


What you will need to be successful:

  • 5 + years of work experience, including at least 2 years experience in Product Marketing or Product Management in a Tech company

  • Passion for uncovering and solving consumer needs

  • Strategic thinker: able to see the big picture and balance long-term vision with short and medium-term goals

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to manage projects across multiple departments and stakeholders

  • Master storyteller: able to craft a compelling narrative across different channels

  • Fluent written and spoken English
