Job Description

Bonial is a people business and as Head of People and Culture you will drive our people strategy and empower the people of Bonial to deliver value back to the business. In your leadership of our People and Culture team, you will help the company to become more strategic around our People decisions and support the company in having a performance orientated culture. You will set the benchmark for what leadership represents at Bonial and will deliver this in all aspects of your work and touch points with your key stakeholders. You will report directly into the Chief Officer People. 

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and inspire the People & Culture team to deliver quality service and consultation to the rest of the business in the areas of Recruiting, Business Partnership and People Admin & Services
• Manage and continuously optimize workplace planning and a lean organisational structure 
• Build up strong business relationships with employees and leaders, working closely with the Executive Leadership team 
• Take lead on culture building and employee engagement strategies 
• Oversee and enhance performance development processes
• Manage the compensation program: salary surveys, compensation analysis and recommendations
• Setup and implement a learning and development program 
• Provide expertise and support in the areas of policy and procedure development and HR compliance
• Manage the relationship with the Betriebsrat

Your background 

• You have at least 6-8 years experience as HR business partner or generalist working in a fast paced environment with 200+ employees
• You are a strong leader and are experienced in leading a People Operations or Human Resources team
• You have experience working with a Bertriebsrat (Workers council)
• You have a strong service-oriented mindset and live the motto "Employees are our customers"
• You have high-level interpersonal skills and intercultural competence and work happily in an international environment 
• You have good negotiation and relationship management skills and use that in your daily interactions with stakeholders 
• You think, work and speak a structured way and are able to effectively communicate your ideas to others in both English and German (verbal and written) 
• You are highly organised and able to remain calm and steady even in stressful situations
