Your mission

Together with other members of the Office management team, you strive every day to sustain and improve workplace productivity in our Bonial headquarters office. As the ambassadors for customer centricity and service mindset, you put our people first by making the office an easy and pleasant place to get quality work done and spend time in an enjoyable way.

As Working student - Vibe, Community & Events, with your hospitable nature and keen eye for detail, you will support the Office manager in managing the ambience and vibe in the office; running smooth operations of community spaces and co-ordinating effortless set-up of all main meetings and company events. You will also support the office manager in constantly look for new creative ways to improve the energy and sense of community in the office.

Your responsibilities:

  • Treat the office like your home: daily walkthroughs around the office to check facilities and mood  

  • Manage smooth operations of community spaces and keep in orderly fashion 24/7

  • Internal communication: keep the company updated on community and event topics that require their attention and participation

  • Manage lunchtime operations on 5th-floor kitchen

  • Manage smooth operations and safe usage of gym and activity room spaces

  • Caring for our plants

  • Manage setup/pack down and catering of main company and teamwide meetings

  • Coordinate preparation of guest meetings and greeting of guests

  • Work together with IT-support to ensure smooth tech set-up for main meetings and events

  • Support organisation for main company-wide social events

  • Support planning and setup of meetups and team events  

  • Ideate, plan and implement other office enhancements that add value to our employees and workplace (eg. automated lighting)

  • Work together with the office management team on planning, purchasing and installing interior design and branding in the office

  • Support the other office management team members 100% of the time

Qualifications

  • You have a least 1 year of experience working in hospitality and/or event management

  • You have high-level interpersonal skills and intercultural competence and work happily in an international environment

  • You have a strong service-oriented mindset and live the motto "Employees are our customers"

  • You are highly organised and able to remain calm and steady even in stressful situations

  • You think, work and speak a structured way and are able to effectively communicate your ideas to others (verbal and written)

  • You have good negotiation and relationship management skills and use that in your daily interactions with stakeholders

  • You have good MS Office skills (especially Powerpoint and Excel)

  • You speak German and English fluently in speech and writing

  • Completed or currently completing a BSc/BA in hospitality management, marketing, communications or related field is preferred
