Casper is seeking a Lease Administrator who will report to the Director of Real Estate. This role will primarily support North America retail leases.

When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do
  • Ability to interpret lease provisions and inform business partners on lease expirations, co-tenancy clauses, lease required renovations, lease required advertising, options, lease expirations, kick-outs
  • Prepare agreements for signature, track, and process all legal documents
  • Oversee deal approval and lease execution process. Will be responsible for delivering key information to Legal, Finance, Accounting and New Store Opening Team prior to and upon execution
  • Identify and communicate to Accounting any necessary adjustments to contractual information and track renovation closures, free rent periods, etc.
  • Responsible for review and negotiations of storage agreements
  • Coordinate the handling of repairs & maintenance issues in partnership with Facilities by reviewing the lease clauses, notifying landlords, etc.
  • Partner with Lease Accounting on interpreting invoices, rent, percentage rent, CAM, etc.
  • Responsible for direct communications with Landlord’s and Developers
  • Handle Estoppels and notices of default
  • Track and report key lease actions for monthly and quarterly committee meetings
Our dream candidate is...
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years+ lease administration experience, preferably in retail/real estate
  • 1-2 years lease accounting experience is a plus
  • Self-starter who demonstrates the ability to multi-task and time management in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple leases at once
  • Organized, accurate and detail oriented 
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking
  • Ability to write clear and concise letters, memos, emails
  • Clear and concise brand appropriate phone communications
  • Proficient in Lease Administration Software, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, GSuite Apps
