Summary


The Casper Retail team is looking for a Retail Events Programming Manager to join our growing team!


We are looking for an events programming marketing leader who will create and execute a retail programming strategy to tell our brand story, engage our local communities and drive traffic & revenue to our stores.


In this role, the Retail Events Programming Manager will be responsible for crafting a holistic overarching Retail events and programming strategy  for new and existing markets, as well as at the national and local levels. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring input and partnership across the organization, including but not limited to: Field leadership, store leadership, corporate retail team, PR, Integrated Marketing and Creative.


As we quickly grow our retail fleet, the Events Programming Manager will be instrumental in helping us achieve our brand and business goals; through a creative, targeted and well-curated retail event programming strategy, we will be able to realize our mission of awakening the potential of a well-rested world at a greater scale.


This role will be based out of our New York City headquarters.


Responsibilities & Duties


  • Create an event and programming strategy for Retail. Plan, produce and implement national-level programming events that: tell the Casper brand story, engage and inspire local communities, and drive both store traffic and lead generation.Partner with local field leadership and store teams to provide strategic oversight of local-level events such as in-store clienteling events and store initiatives. Develop local partnerships that drive traffic and new customer acquisition to Retail Stores.
  • Create and oversee processes that facilitate cross-functional collaboration from programming planning through execution. Collaborate with CRM team to identify methods that will drive new and existing customers to our Sleep Shops, while also leveraging existing sales and clienteling processes.
  • Own and oversee all operational and logistical components of retail programming and events. Create and manage Retail Programming & Events Calendar; own communication between key functional partners at both the corporate and field level; Develop, track, and manage programming and event KPIs while consistently iterating on strategy and execution.
  • Responsible for the creation and project management of all event-related marketing materials and any related playbooks & directives.
  • Adhere to budget and guidelines for all programming and ensure compliance of local laws/restrictions for programming

Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5+ years of directly relevant experience in retail marketing, event marketing, retail programming experience or related field.
  • Must be a creative thinker, self-motivated, strategic and have a drive for executional excellence; always looking for alternative solutions to a problem when up against roadblocks.
  • Proven programming and experiential acumen; must know how to create and produce thoughtful, engaging events that deliver against strategic objectives in a retail environment.
  • Impeccable communication skills and proven ability to manage frequent stakeholder interactions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products required; Knowledge of Slack, Salesforce, and Looker are a plus.
