Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) International (m/f)

Casper is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f) to join the team in our newly opened European HQ in Berlin.  You'll be an integral part of a fast-moving tech team, focused on engineering the best customer experience imaginable.  As an early member of this international team, you’ll have a huge role in determining the process and scope for future projects, and be responsible for carrying these through to implementation.  You’ll help us fine-tune our modern stack, including React, Redux, Webpack and CSS Modules to create a world-class shopping experience for customers around the world. Last but not least, you will have flexible working hours and the possibility to work occasionally from Casper HQ in New York City.

• Work closely with Creative and Product to launch products and services tailored to different markets, expand into new international markets, and create delightful experiences that impress our growing international customer base
• Deliver high quality peer-reviewed code that advances technology strategy

• Fluent in Ruby on Rails
• Comfortable shipping an abundance of high quality code in ES6 and React/Redux
• Pro-active. You can independently seek out answers and own project responsibilities
• Excellent at giving and receiving feedback from others that promotes a collaborative and humble working culture
• A clear communicator that can reduce ambiguity and promote transparency with team members and co-workers
• Engaged with the technical community and stays up to date on current trends
