Looking for a job to get you out of bed?We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Retail team in support of our growing fleet of more than 20+ stores across North America. You'll play a key role in building out a suite of tools for our sleep specialists to help ensure they provide customers a delightful experience.
Casper (casper.com) was created to re-imagine sleep from the ground up, beginning with its obsessively engineered, outrageously comfortable mattress. All of Casper’s sleep products — including its pillow, bedding, and furniture — are developed in-house by the company’s award-winning R&D team in San Francisco. When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do
- Work with Digital Product and Creative to deliver exceptional tools that delight our sleep specialists
- Visit stores to pilot your work in a real store environment and interview users
- Deliver high quality peer-reviewed code that follows best practices
- Review code written by teammates to ensure we are shipping our best
- Set and achieve personal goals that further your technical and mentorship skills to level up the team
- Knowledgeable about React or other modern frontend frameworks
- Comfortable developing modern JavaScript and CSS
- Open-minded and values a team that is flexible around implementation.
- A clear communicator that can reduce ambiguity and promote transparency with team members and co-workers
- Pro-active. You can independently seek out answers and own project responsibilities
