Your Role:


As a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (m/f) at Coya, you will play a key role in building and designing our base infrastructure as well as supporting our development team to build a great product. You will have an impact on guiding and designing modern, auto-scaling, automated infrastructure and architecture.


Your tasks:


  • Build our infrastructure and orchestration platform 
  • Develop automation tools to support our services and infrastructure 
  • Develop our deployment and development pipeline 
  • Contribute in guiding our SRE/DevOps practices and culture 
  • Support our engineering team to automate the application lifecycle through building, testing, staging and deploying by using DevOps and Continuous Delivery/Deployment best practices 
  • Develop effective tooling, alerts, and response to identify and address reliability risks of our services 
  • Participate in technical discussions about the technical roadmap as well as in decision making processes 
  • Document our systems and services 
  • Work autonomously and be able to have an impact on all steps of the product pipeline and infrastructure 



Your Profile:

  • 4+ years hands-on experience 
  • You love working with and learning new technologies and architectures 
  • You previously worked in agile and cross-functional environments 
  • You want to architect a highly automated infrastructure 
  • You are a self-driven engineer and want to bring new ideas 
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc) 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers and scalable infrastructure, in particular with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS…) 
  • Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, ECS) 
  • Experience with system monitoring and logging 
  • Experience building CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines 
  • Development experience in Automation using Python or another language 
  • You are security-conscious and have good knowledge on best security practices 
  • You’re able to work in an English-speaking work environment 
  • Preferred: Experience with JVM deployments and certification processes 
  • Nice to have: good knowledge on best security practices
