Your Role:As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role building and designing our base infrastructure and helping our development team to build a great product.
The work activities include, among other things:
- Build and maintain basic infrastructure
- Support our engineering team to automate the application lifecycle through build, test, stage and deploy by using DevOps and Continuous Delivery/Deployment best practices
- Develop effective tooling, alerts, and response to identify and address reliability risks of our services
- Participate in technical discussions about the technical roadmap
- Perform internal security audits and pentests looking for security issues in our different products; assess all security-related aspects of the architecture, define potential attack scenarios, develop defense strategies and implement counter measures
- You will participate in the development of security related features or POC
- Stay fit in the latest security topics and technologies and seek to integrate them in our products
- Document the systems you build
Your Profile:
- 4+ years hands-on experience
- Previous experience in security/pentesting/cryptography or a strong desire to learn and follow this career path
- Worked previously in agile environments
- Experience with cloud providers and scalable infrastructure, in particular with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS…)
- Experience with containers and container orchestration tools
- Experience with system monitoring
- You are security-conscious and good knowledge on best security practices
- You’re able to work in an English-speaking work environment
- Preferred: Experience with JVM deployments
- Preferred: Experience with certification processes
- Most importantly: you love to learn new (security) things and spend a good amount of time in the day doing so
