Territory Manageris responsible for understanding and developing assigned territory to maximize and grow revenue and profits by planning and supporting activities that will result in the sale of Davines products to existing customers and acquiring new business. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed Davines established sales quotas by working with distributor management to create an effective sales and education plan while working within a budget that is mutually agreed upon;
Optimize the business plan by creating a plan to utilize Marketing and Education Accruals in an effective way;
Optimize the business plan by working with Regional Education Manager and distributor management to create a cost effective, inspiring education calendar while also considering the need for fundamental education activities;
Consistently monitor data pertaining to sales, education activities, DSC incentives, merchandising usage, product sampling, and more to make adjustments to the business plan to achieve the sales.
Work with distributor management to establish detailing days 2 months prior. Plan should include the date and sales consultant assigned for the detailing day;
Work with local sales consultants to plan effective full days while detailing. Agenda for the day should be agreed upon 1 week prior to the detailing day;
Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects in territory to understand their evolving business needs and position products to meet surfaced needs and to build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships;
Optimize business plan by working closely with local sales forces and distributor management to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency through development and prequalification of leads;
Continuously expand local sales force and salon customer understanding and use of Davines products and collateral;
Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with local sales force, existing customers and prospects and be available and responsive to their real-time needs;
Conduct effective sales meeting presentations to update and motivate local sales force;
Complete sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner;
Execute in-salon previews, customer appreciation events and prospecting events.
Territory Manager is a professional who has the duty of maintaining a territory in the best possible way so that it yields the requisite amount of returns;
Territory Manager has the vital function of building enthusiasm within the local sales force that will result in strengthened relationships with existing and potential new customers;
Territory Manager has an in-depth knowledge of Davines’ philosophy, culture and products and shares this via successful activities aimed to local sales forces and salons. Territory Manager utilizes this knowledge to facilitate the sale of Davines products to new and existing.
