ROLE DESCRIPTION:

• Reports to Group CIO and works in close collaboration with Application Manager.
• Oversees the design of the backoffice application architecture, to meet strategic objectives, functional requirements and operational efficiency.
• Defines the approach to application integration and data governance. Guarantees the consistency of implementation projects in terms of scope, delivery plan and technology.
• Oversees the lifecycle of applications to evolve the overall architecture, taking into account business objectives and market evolution. Works with virtual teams in an international context.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• The perimeter of backoffice applications spans across, as a significant although not complete list: ERP, CRM, Product configuration and quotation, Reporting, BI, Treasury, Consolidation, Document Management, Business Process Management, Sharepoint-based applications, Intranet and collaboration, HRM, Training, Service management and support applications.
• The Application Architect is responsible for the definition of the application landscape, for technology selection and strategic partnerships.
• Evaluates change requests, business requirements and project proposals
• Defines solution scenarios and oversees service design of new applications
• Prepares and presents feasible project proposals to CIO and senior management

It is considered necessary a 5-10 y seniority in application management and/or as application architect in one or more of the functional areas of ERP, CRM, BI, Integration, DMS, BPM.

It is required also operational experience in project/program management, IT services delivery management or software development coordination.

It is preferred an experience in IT services or technology sector, basic comprehension of information technology and service delivery complexity and service management principles

Willingness to travel around the world.
