LIFE FLOWS THROUGH OUR SOFTWARE.

We are currently looking for a Group consolidation specialist for the Milan HQ (about 50% remote working).
This role reports to the Group Controlling Director and will be part of the whole Group and Corporate controlling team.
Moreover, the Resource will be responsible of coordinating the monthly and annual consolidated managerial closures and reporting.

Reporting directly to the Group Controlling Director, the candidate will be involved in:

• Collecting information from the Countries for the preparation of the annual and monthly Group consolidated managerial accounts;
• Assisting in preparation and review of annual and monthly consolidated managerial accounts;
• Reviewing journal entries for the CCH Tagetik consolidation tool (e.g. intercompany eliminations, other consolidation entries, etc.);
• Performing in depth analysis of the financial information reported and ensure timely identification of errors and risk areas;
• Analyzing and interpreting historical data;
• Assisting in updating of group accounting and reporting directives;
• Interfacing with other company functions to gather the information necessary for a better and complete representation of company events in the consolidated managerial account;
• Working closely with the group treasurer to produce accurate cashflow statements.

• Education: Bachelor degree (or higher) in Economics / Financial Management;
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a Finance and Accounting department of Companies (or Audit Firm), gained in consolidation analyst role;
• Good knowledge of IFRS GAAP;
• Microsoft Excel skills to advanced level (including lookups, pivots, macros and modelling);
• Fluent English knowledge; a third language (Spanish, German or French) will be considered a plus;
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 & CCH Tagetik experience will be considered a plu
• Good understanding of, and experience of, financial transaction process; accounting control; general ledger related entries under IFRS;
• Resilient - able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
