We've got huge scope to innovate and we always welcome fresh perspectives. You'll be able to make a big impact, and learn a huge amount during your time at EDITED.

We bring in the best candidates to meet our existing team and get to know them before making a hiring decision together.

We’re looking for a digital designer for our industry-leading software product, with a keen interest in both interaction and information design. You will work on all parts of our application, from designing data visualisations, to conceptualising completely new features and products. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s excited by problem solving, and is motivated to design simple solutions to complex systems.

You will:

  • work closely with the product and data teams, to help them visualise data and build great interfaces and products
  • collaborate with our engineering team to improve how our platform works within our infrastructure
  • set the tone for how we design interfaces
  • be pragmatic, collaborative, and empathetic to the people who will use your work
  • have amazing taste, and the talent to bring it to life

We promise you won’t:

  • work in an environment where we dictate your process
  • be micromanaged or work to briefs, or ever "throw work over the wall" for signoff
  • ever settle

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in an Interaction or Digital Design role and a strong portfolio of work
  • Familiarity with the latest emerging design/prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch, Principle, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.)
  • A meticulous eye for detail - producing pixel perfect design
  • An understanding of the possibilities and limitations of designing for browser-based web applications
  • A good understanding and experience of developing good UX, typography, colour and grid systems
  • A thorough understanding of best practices in interaction and design
  • Experience in producing wireframes, mockups and prototypes for web applications
  • A collaborative, friendly approach, good manners, a constructive viewpoint, and a team player

Bonus points:

  • A good understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Experience working on and maintaining the UI of a complex web-based SaaS product
  • Interest in retail/fashion industry and/or working with real time data
  • Make a great cup of tea
