With over 13,000,000 users and continuous exponential growth, we now host over 2,000 tournaments and 15,000,000 game sessions per month. As part of a small but growing design team, you will have the opportunity to work on lots of exciting and varying projects, where you’ll have a chance to define our new design direction.   
The Role
We’re looking for someone who can pick up projects and run with them, you’ll be working closely with a small design team and lead designer but you’ll need to be comfortable playing solo, start to finish. 
Your day to day will be designing for a product that is used by millions of gamers around the world. You will be a big part of defining our new design system and pushing the product to a wider audience across more platforms and devices. 
You’ll be interacting with players all the time. Our players inform where we are going and validate our decisions, listen to their needs and find the best solution. 
We use Figma for all our UI work and some of our prototyping. Other tools in our stack include Surveymonkey, Lookback and Mixpanel. We’re quick to adopt new tools and have the freedom to change quickly, so you’ll be more than welcome to contribute to our processes.
About you

  • You'll need to be comfortable with every stage of the design process - from discovery workshops through to prototyping and testing.
  • You'll be a passionate and proactive person, keen to drive forward and find innovative ways to improve the experience for players.
  • You’ll be a problem solver. You’ll enjoy thinking through complex product challenges to find the right solution for our players.
  • You'll be a fantastic communicator. You'll have to be able to communicate with different disciplines across the business to get to the best result.

  • You’ll be analytical. You base your decisions on data. An understanding of Mixpanel is beneficial but not required. You'll have an online portfolio or PDF that you can share with us.

    Job purpose :
    As Project Manager at Overlord Media (part of the FACEIT group), you will coordinate with multiple people to plan and execute our ambitious goals while keeping projects on track and stakeholders informed.
    You will play a vital role in the operations of different projects. Your past experience will help you coordinate the different parties and projects in order to achieve high quality results.
    You must have strong organisation skills, a passion for gaming and the ability to execute under evolving timelines and sometimes extreme pressure.
    Responsibilities

  • Product Assessment: Assess the needs of the esports property at every stage of the process from conception to execution and post launch sustain;
  • Reporting: Be responsible for assessing and tracking KPIs of each product – usually viewership;
  • Marketing Campaigns: Working with the marketing department to ensure campaigns are impactful and cost efficient, and oversee and monitor their execution;
  • Budgets: Responsible for creating a budget and ensuring that product remains within that budget;
  • Market Knowledge: Embed and maintain a knowledge of the community that participates within that product;
  • Staff: Work as a lynchpin member of the media team, monitoring different departments delivery dates and work loads;
  • Scheduling: Each step of the production and marketing process must be appropriately planned and overseen.

  • Required Skills

  • Strong organisational ability with attention to detail;
  • Excellent negotiation skills are vital for this role;
  • Outstanding written and oral skills with the ability to clearly communicate how plans will deliver;
  • Great interpersonal skills including effective relationship creation and management;
  • The ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders seamlessly and effectively;
  • Demonstrable understanding of the gaming industry.
