Description

As Events Manager at Overlord Media (part of the FACEIT group), you will be coordinate with multiple people to plan and execute our ambitious goals while keeping projects on track and stakeholders informed.
 
You will play a vital role in the operations of different projects, including but not limited to the Esport Championship Series. Your experience in negotiation and communication will help you coordinate the different parties and projects in order to achieve high quality results.
You must have strong organisation skills, a passion for gaming and the ability to execute under evolving timelines and sometimes extreme pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Establish plans for pre-event preparation including but not limited to location, conception, logistics, staffing and supplier selection;
  • Create event task lists and ensure that everything is done in a timely manner, assigning responsibilities to the different staff members;
  • Manage all the relationships on site, including suppliers and members of staff;
  • Work with Marketing Director to ensure event schedule and the like are communicated correctly and ticket sales planned;
  • Ensure that all events are delivered at high quality levels;
  • Work with Finance Team & Project Manager to ensure events are within budget.
  • Deal with issues and problems that may arise and find quick and feasible solutions.
    • Required Skills
  • Strong organisational and negotiating skills with attention to detail;
  • Outstanding written and oral skills with the ability to clearly communicate how plans will deliver;
  • Great interpersonal skills including effective relationship creation and management;
  • Demonstrable understanding of the gaming industry;
    • Experience
  • 3 years+ of demonstrated experience in events or sports industry;
  • Previous experience in leading teams and running projects;
  • Familiarity with Esport ecosystem is a plus.
