At FACEIT we are working hard to offer to our organisers unique tools to make creating and managing competitions for different game communities fast, accessible and smooth.
Today hundreds of organisers are already using our platform to offer players a continuous flow of healthy and engaging competitive experiences. However, in FACEIT we believe that Unique Tools and Technologies are not the only things we have to offer. Therefore we decided to create a new team to directly support the most successful organisers in the community. This team works side by side with organisers on a daily base to make their projects even more successful and sustainable.
As Partnerships Manager at FACEIT, you will screen and on-board top notch community organizers. You will be involved in setting up a real and valuable partnership with them and you will strongly contribute to the success of their projects creating unique and engaging experiences for their communities.
You will manage key relationships with different types of organisers, from big esport organisations, to influencers and local organisers and for each of them you will be able to offer a continuous flow of suggestions on how to improve their proposition for the players and how to make sure they can receive a strong direct support from them.
The ideal candidate has strong organisational, leadership and communication skills, a passion for gaming and esports and a strong connection and understanding of the Video Game Community. So, if you spend your time on Reddit and Twitter to be up to date with what’s going on, if you need to watch some video game streaming before going to sleep and if you already have a strong connection with many community members, you are already halfway there. What you will do at FACEIT
  • Search and contact successful organizers within the community to develop new partnerships and build long-term relationships: tournaments organizers, personalities, communities and other potential strategic partners;
  • Track, manage and report key performance metrics objectives and goals; metrics are important to understand internally and with the partner the success of the projects within the community;
  • Develop together with co-workers in the Partnerships, Product, and Marketing Teams the partnerships overall strategy and goals;
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with our partners organizers through a tight and continuous communication to make sure we can always support them in a responsive and effective way.
  • What should you bring to the table
  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry, E-sport and community;
  • Familiarity with FACEIT as user/player;
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with attention to details;
  • Outstanding written and oral skills with the ability to clearly communicate how plans will deliver;
  • Great interpersonal skills including effective communication, relationship creation and management;
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
  • Previous experience as a Partnerships Manager in the gaming industry is a massive plus;  
  • Existing network with Organizers within the community is a massive plus;
  • Prior start-up experience is a plus.
