YOUR ROLE

Festicket is looking for a HR Manager/Office Manager who will assist with Accounts and Payroll (Peak Festival season will require assisting with accounts. Off Peak Festival season will require assisting Payroll.) You will undertake a variety of tasks such as managing and maintaining HR records, conducting employee onboarding, entering payroll information, calculating wages and making payments. Furthermore you will support the finance team by liasing with external suppliers, ensuring suppliers are paid on time, as well as dealing with internal expenses etc.

DAY TO DAY TASKS

HR MANAGEMENT

  • Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Administering compensation and benefit plans
  • Conducting employee onboarding and help plan training & development

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT (PEAK FESTIVAL PERIOD) & PAYROLL ASSISTANT (OFF-PEAK FESTIVAL PERIOD)

  • Check and reconcile supplier invoices
  • Deal with purchase enquiries with suppliers
  • Prepare Pay out Payment
  • Working with spreadsheets purchases ledgers and journals
  • Manage compensation packages using payroll software
  • Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
  • Calculate bonuses and commissions when appropriate

OFFICE MANAGEMENT

  • Handle day to day office operations including the ordering of supplies, set up of conference rooms.
  • Maintain office inventory
  • Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments and training staff.
  • Liaise with building management and vendors.
  • Organise company events on budget for internal team/department building and external events for clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a HR and Office Management related position.
  • Experience setting up/assisting with the creation of internal payroll systems and accounts.
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles
  • Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of UK and EU employment laws and taxation of employees living outside of the UK.
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software
