Description

You support our GIS system & tomtom order management
You will build a new Telemetry system based on Kafka, Kafka streams
You enable Business events based on location of various devices Several years of professional experience with Java or Scala, bonus points if you know Python, PostGIS, Tile38, Docker + K8s, Kafka, Gradle, SBT
Experience with GIS technologies is a plus: i.e. GeoJSON, MapBox, CartoCSS, Google Maps, Leaflet, deck.gl, OpenStreetMap & OpenStreetMap ecosystem, OpenLayers, TopoJSON, KML, GML, GDAL/OGR, GTFS, ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS, OSRM, GraphHopper
Ensure that your code is working as expected is an essential part of your coding style
Passionate about learning new tools and keeping yourself up-to-date
Willingness to communicate and share your knowledge with other team members
Willingness to take responsibility for the product and technical decisions
Fluent in English; every other language is a plus
Bachelor/Master in business information systems, computer science or similar experiences
