Description

You are responsible for all accounting activities of FlixBus in Hungary (journal entry booking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, etc.) and will be reporting directly to the Regional Head of Finance
You support external accounting companies providing services to other FlixBus companies in CEE Region (Rumania, Bulgaria)
You take part in the implementation of an ERP in our company (Oracle Cloud)
You prepare and control monthly and annual financial statements together with the Regional Head of Finance
You participate in the preparation of the business plan, the budgeting and planning of the cash flow
You contribute to the Finance function improvement initiatives and internal control (accrual, audit, IFRS, etc) in an environment of continuous and strong development. University degree in accounting or economics, major in accounting/ controlling/ finance desirable, but not a must
Relevant experience in accounting or audit
3-5 years of work experience (incl. internships)
Working proficiency in all the established MS-Office-Programs (Excel, Word...)
Problem solving, hands on attitude
Accurate and structured work style, combined with strong commitment, team-oriented mind-set
You are fluent in English
You are fluent in Hungarian and/or Romanian and/or Bulgarian
