Description

• You play a key role within the web development team and shape the appearance and functionality of our existing website as well as new services and applications
• You continuously develop our frontend, together with our multifunctional team
• You provide deep technical expertise in all aspects of design and development for user experience
• You continuously improve our applications by using agile development techniques like Scrum, Kanban or XP

You Must
• Be passionate about doing the things right in terms of FE development. Since UI kit tools are meant to be the company's standard everything should be polished to establish the quality level for all other teams
• Know and understand what's going on with HTML and CSS in terms of creating the great UI's, must be a UI expert so to say
• Have a knowledge of JavaScript in all it's glory: have a great general overview on the tools, know what is happening in the world of JavaScript and understand what is the right tool for what purpose.

You Should
• Know and follow the best practices in FE development, and most importantly, understand why this is needed (hint: scalability, maintainability, reducing dependencies etc.)
• Be aware of HTML/CSS architectural patterns like OOCSS and BEM
• Have an experience in using UI frameworks like bootstrap, foundation, semanticUI
• Have an experience with one or two JS frameworks and vanilla JavaScript (pure JavaScript)
• Be able to make important architectural decisions and take the responsibility for them • You have an extensive JavaScript experience (ES5/ES6)
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like ReactJs, VueJs or Angular: you choose the right tool for your needs
• Experience with JavaScript task runners like Gulp or Grunt
• Experience with programming languages PHP, Java, Ruby is a plus
• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant industry experience
• Fluent in English; every other European language is a plus
