Description

You work on one of our products as a frontend developer in a self-organized, cross-functional scrum team, using modern frontend technologies
You play a key role within the development team and shape the appearance and functionality of our existing website as well as new services and applications.
You provide deep technical expertise in all aspects of design and development for user experience.
You have the possibility to participate in the development of our company wide UI kit Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant industry experience
Extensive experience as a frontend developer using multi-tier web applications
You have solid understanding of JavaScript and you have experience with its latest versions. You understand what JavaScript code will run on which browsers and what it means to transpile JavaScript.
You understand how important performance is in a JavaScript application, especially on mobile browsers.
You have worked with JavaScript frameworks. ReactJS is preferred, but we value any experience with all major players (VueJS, Angular, etc.).
You have experience with JavaScript bundlers. Webpack is preferred.
You have a good eye for design.
You can write solid, cross-browser CSS. You are familiar with CSS preprocessors. You know what problems BEM can solve.
Experience with NodeJS is a plus.
Experience with programming languages PHP, Java, Ruby is a plus
Be passionate about doing the right things in terms of frontend development. Since UI kit tools are meant to be the company's standard, everything should be polished to establish a quality level for all other teams.
Know and follow the best practices in frontend development and most importantly understand why this is needed (scalability, maintainability, reducing dependencies etc.)
Be able to take important architectural decisions and own the responsibility for them
Be fluent in English; every other European language is a plus
