You will work as a Team Lead Business Analyst/Data Scientist (m/f/d) in a self-organized, cross-functional team. The data analytics team supports the Network Planning department. We enable the business by providing the backbone for data-driven decision making. Our work ranges from business analytics via quantitative research to data science. Your work will be a combination of business and tech.

• You and your highly motivated team of 3 are responsible for all network-related analysis topics such as building reports and developing analysis tools to identify potentials
• You help us to understand the international long-distance coach market by creating insights from analyzing internal and external data (e.g. estimating market potentials, competitor analyses, optimize the network, build forecasts)
• You base your decisions on quantitative analyses and derive conclusions and observations from the variety of sets of data to make informed decisions
• You present ideas as well as figures in informative and relevant form to update your team members and the management team
• You drive innovation by introducing new ideas, methodologies, and perspectives to allow a greater understanding • You have a degree in a quantitative field of studies (economics, mathematics, statistics, or similar)
• You have work experience as Business Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar
• You ideally have work experience in people management
• You have advanced skills in MS Office programs, especially Excel
• You have advanced skills in frontend tools such as PowerBI, QlikView or Tableau
• You have advanced skills in code-based analytical tools such as R, STATA or Python
• You are comfortable working independently and are curious about learning new tools and methods
• You have the ability to communicate with a wide audience, including experts in the field as well as non-specialists
• You have the ability to transfer analytical insights into commercial outcomes
