foodora is a Berlin-based food delivery service that partners exclusively with beloved local restaurants to deliver quality meals in 19 countries around the globe. We know the best that our cities offer and we’re bringing it online, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We provide our restaurant-partners with an on-demand fleet of bicycle couriers, making it simple for customers around the world to access delicious meals.  


We're currently expanding through Europe, Asia, Canada and Australia and we are always on the hunt for the brightest minds to join our team. Not only do we want to bring quality food to customers around the world, we also want to redefine delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.


We're currently looking to hire a  Operations Analyst (Global Workforce Manager) (m/f) to work within our Global Operations team within our Berlin HQ.


Responsibilities


  • You will be applying your academic training to solve real-world problems and have an immediate impact on a fast-growing global business
  • You will be building our incident prediction and forecasting models from scratch and see them implemented and integrated with our systems
  • You will oversee the scheduling exercise taking our current process to the next level by adapting internal tools, integrating an external system or building from scratch
  • You will own the HR planning and monthly budget that will drive Recruitment and HR decisions. You will create the model and adjust it on regular basis to meet business need and reflecting your own observation
  • You will also support local team automating processes such as the payroll, legal compliance with labor law
  • You will be working closely with our operations team and top-level management to develop and implement new ideas

Requirements


  • You graduated from a leading university in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, economics)
  • You have knowledge of statistics and forecasting methods
  • You have at least a basic knowledge of SQL. Experience with R or Python is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • A hands-on mentality with a strong taste for implementation and testing
  • An organized and structured approach to complex problem
  • Proficient English speaker
