You can find our signature pink bikes in 20+ countries, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We’re connecting foodies and restaurants and together with our riders' energy and our amazing partner restaurants, we are redefining delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.
We are currently looking for a Head of Local Operations based in Berlin. Our ideal candidate has a strong passion for entrepreneurialism. You get things done, you question everything and you like to play in a team.
Your mission:
- You manage an international department with 4+ direct reports and more than 30 Heroes
- You support Foodora’s management with execution of their logistics strategy
- You lead operational projects with high priority and major cost impact for the company
- You take ownership of performance improvement initiatives that strengthen our fleet and rider’s relationships
- You optimise and structure the process to run a highly efficient fleet management system
- You use data analysis to set the focus areas, priorities and plans that contribute to the operational efficiency strategy
- You are working together closely with global and local teams
Your heroic skills:
- You gained at least 4 years of professional experience in operations, logistics, business intelligence, business development, and/or consulting experience in rapidly changing environments
- You have a degree in business, economics, management or engineering
- You have experience in leading a team as well as working within a team
- You take a highly analytical approach to everything you do and know how to pick the most impactful measurement variables
- You possess a hands-on mentality, drive, and structured way of working and logical thinking skills
- You are highly motivated, energetic and independent in handling business challenges
- Strong communication skills - fluent in both English and German
