foodora is a Berlin-based food delivery service that partners exclusively with beloved local restaurants to deliver quality meals in 19 countries around the globe. We know the best that our cities offer and we’re bringing it online, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We provide our restaurant-partners with an on-demand fleet of bicycle couriers, making it simple for customers around the world to access delicious meals.

We are looking for a Junior Photo Editor to join our marketing team in Berlin HQ
The junior Photo Editor will be responsible for re-touching incoming photography assets and facilitating the delivery of final files to our digital asset management system.
Responsibilities:
The Photo Editor successfully conducts the following job functions:
- Provide detailed retouching and delivery of image files within timelines communicated by the senior photo editor and photography team.
- Maintain digital asset organization
- Oversee delivery of final assets to the digital asset management system Cumulus.
- Ability to re-touch multiple images per day
- Advanced skills with compositing and re-touching food, product and people images
- Working together with the design team and support with the preparation of printable photo files
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in the discipline of image re-touching and photography with a working knowledge of the photographic process.
- Experience in photo re-touching with portfolio.
- Deadline-driven, detail oriented and accurate.
- Expertise working with industry standard image editing tools and processes
- Familiarity with DSLR camera equipment and studio lighting/studio environment
- Superior Adobe Creative Suite skills with a focus on Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Understanding and ability to follow brand standards
- Teamwork—Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit
- Organizational Support—Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values
Education and Experience
Successfully completed apprenticeship in photography or Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Photography, Illustration, Digital Media or completed vocational training
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, PS, Indd, LR
- Management of digital asset library including naming, organizing and archiving
- Microsoft Office, Mac, Wacom, Cumulus, google drive
