foodora is a Berlin-based food delivery service that partners exclusively with beloved local restaurants to deliver quality meals in 22 countries around the globe. We know the best that our cities offer and we’re bringing it online, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We provide our restaurant-partners with an on-demand fleet of bicycle couriers, making it simple for customers around the world to access delicious meals.  


We're currently expanding through Europe, Asia, Canada and Australia and we are always on the hunt for the brightest minds to join our team. Not only do we want to bring quality food to customers around the world, we also want to redefine delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.


We are looking for your help as Junior Operations Manager - (Content) Germany/Austria within our Berlin HQ.


Responsibilities:


  • Be responsible for the content online and presented to our customers in Germany and Austria. Ensure it adheres to the provided country guidelines.
  • The excellent output ensures better and effective conversion, be the custodian to fix the vendor pages to see a uplift in conversion metrics.
  • Lead a team of outsourced content agents to work on the content requirements such as; new vendor upload, menu changes, images etc.
  • People management & stakeholder management.
  • Managing the productivity and quality output of the agents as per the agreed and defined targets.
  • Monitoring requests and ensuring timely resolution; being responsive to escalations and facilitating appropriate solutions.
  • Capacity planning and providing timelines to volume by managing resources / infrastructure, queue, shift management, cross training.
  • Have an eye for detail to spot errors and get things fixed before customers/vendors are impacted.Ensuring a learning organization; addressing training needs from time to time and ensuring the team gains from each day at work.
  • Weekly feedback/one-on-one to make sure we are building an institution (work-friendly).

Requirements:


  • Outstanding drive, a passion to lead changes and loads of energy.
  • Ambitions to work independently with flexibility, and comfortable working in unstructured and fast changing environment.
  • High sense of urgency and geared toward results.
  • Salesforce experience is an added advantage.
  • Intermediate excel skills are an added advantage.
  • German native speaker essential with high written and spoken proficiency.
  • English fluency is also essential
  • Experience in an operations department preferably gained in high pace E/commerce environments.
