You can find our signature pink bikes in 53 cities across 18 countries, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We’re connecting foodies and restaurants from Helsinki to Sydney and together with our riders' energy and our amazing partner restaurants, we're redefining delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.
We are currently looking to hire a Senior Android Engineer (m/f) for our Berlin HQ!
Responsibilites:
- In order to take foodpanda to the next level, we looking forward to hire a Mobile App Developer for Android phones and tablet PCs
- Together with our Global Product team in Berlin you will thus develop and design mobile applications
- As an Android developer, you will be in charge for the development and design of Android applications
- The implementation, optimization and maintenance of the apps will be part of your job as well.
Requirements:
- You have a University degree in the field of computer sciences, business informatics or comparable
- You are a structured thinker and have a quick learning ability
- Fluency in English
- The ideal candidate possesses good knowledge of Java and is proficient in using Android Studio.
- You have experience with modern design patterns like MVP or MVVM and a hands-on experience in Reactive frameworks
- Knowledge of kotlin is to be benefecial
- We also consider experience with programming in Backend on Linux to be beneficial.
