foodora is a Berlin-based food delivery service that partners exclusively with beloved local restaurants to deliver quality meals in 19 countries around the globe. We know the best that our cities offer and we’re bringing it online, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We provide our restaurant-partners with an on-demand fleet of bicycle couriers, making it simple for customers around the world to access delicious meals.

We are looking for a Senior Photo Editor (f/m/d) to join our marketing team in Berlin HQ
The senior Photo Editor will be responsible for re-touching incoming photography assets, managing the junior photo editor, communicate between departments and facilitating the delivery of final files to our digital asset management system.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Photo Editor successfully conducts the following job functions:
- Provide detailed retouching and delivery of image files within timelines communicated by the photography team.
- Maintain digital asset organization
- Oversee delivery of final assets to the digital asset management system Cumulus.
- Ability to re-touch multiple images per day
- Strong eye and attention to detail
- Advanced skills with compositing and re-touching food, product and people images
- Advanced skill to organise own workload, as well as of the junior team member
- Leading exciting projects related to campaign creations & implementations, as well as managing, co-organisation of video-shootings
- Collaborate with the global Campaign-Management, Design & Video Team on a daily basis to ensure projects are delivered to the respective Marketing channels & departments
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail during the production process
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the discipline of image re-touching, data organisation and photography with a working knowledge of the photographic process.
- Experience in photo re-touching with portfolio of before/after images
- Deadline-driven, detail oriented and accurate; highly organized and able to track multiple projects at a time
- Experience with food, product and people retouching
- Expertise working with industry standard image editing tools and processes
- Familiarity with DSLR camera equipment and studio lighting/studio environment
- Superior Adobe Creative Suite skills with a focus on Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Proactive and able to show initiative to foresee/resolve issues related to post workflow
- Understanding and ability to follow brand standards
- Teamwork—Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit
- Organizational Support—Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values
Education and Experience
- Successfully completed apprenticeship in photography or Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Photography, Illustration, Digital Media or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as photo editor
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Management of digital asset library including naming, organising and archiving
- Microsoft Office, Mac, Wacom, Cumulus, google drive
