It means we hit the streets to find the next must-try spot and we chat with the locals to stay ahead of the latest in food. We sit down with chefs, dreaming up menus that will arrive at your door fresh and full of flavour.


You can find our signature pink bikes across 19 countries, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We’re connecting foodies and restaurants from Helsinki to Sydney and together with our riders'​ energy and our amazing partner restaurants, we're redefining delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.


We are looking for your help as a Senior Social Media Content Strategist (m/f)


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the global brand team to translate the foodora/foodpanda product and message into both high quality engagement and conversion focused content (across video, image and blog)
  • Keep up to date with, and facilitate the testing of the newest creative social media advertising (FB, IG, Twitter, Youtube, Snapchat, etc.) products / formats
  • Perform regular content audits - provide feedback (data driven and competitor driven) in order to improve our messaging and creative output
  • Perform regular competitor / key brands / market leader analysis - uncovering new content ideas / opportunities
  • Keep up to date with the latest food / content trends on Social Media - uncovering further content opportunities,
  • Translating all opportunities/ research / findings into insights, coordinating with the content / and graphics and video production team team for creation, and with the paid social team for testing / implementation.
  • Responsible for all social media handles and accounts, including global coordination and account management
  • Identifying social media tools to improve efficiency and performance, including implementation, onboarding and account management

Requirements:


  • You have 3 years of professional experience in social media, campaign management, media agencies or journalism
  • You have project management skills and have experience managing projects with many stakeholders across several departments
  • You have a commercial awareness and a keen interest in marketing, food and social
  • You’re always up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in social media
  • You have taste and your finger always on the pulse of consumer trends and know how to translate them into great content on social media
  • Digital video experience is considered as a big plus
  • You enjoy trying out new approaches and are courageous enough to risk failing here and there
  • Things move quickly here so you must have the ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
  • Fluency in English
  • A highly analytical, structured and process driven approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work in fast paced environment, balance multiple priorities, and use their own initiative.  
  • You’ve graduated, ideally in business administration, marketing, communication, PR, journalism or related field
