Responsibilites:- Collaboration with a team of qualified software developers, product managers and analysts
- Analysis and modelling of optimisation options to improve the various metrics of our algorithm
- Documenting and communicating the way this algorithm works to our operational teams and developers who will implement those solutions.
- Evaluate / benchmarking of potential improvements before hitting production
- Apply known statistical and machine learning techniques and devise new ones to understand and analyze data
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Statistics, Operations Research or other similar quantitative field (M.Sc., PhD)
- Experience with relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL) and excellent SQL skills
- Hands-on, deep knowledge of Python or R (experience with Java or any other language in JVM is a plus)
- Deep understating in statistics, data structures and algorithms
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, A/B testing, predictive analytics, …)
- Experience with logistics, PostGIS, routing algorithms are all nice to have
- Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken
