We're Formlabs and we want to change the way things are made! Our Formlabs EMEA Team is very international with over 100 people from 20+ countries. We're growing our business in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Our customers come from many different branches, such as Engineering, Product Design, Dentistry, Medical, Architecture, Jewellery, and Education.


We're looking for a Chief of Staff/Business Manager EMEA (m/f/d), that can support us in our exponential growth. If you’re looking to take your career to another dimension, want to have a visible role within and shape a Unicorn Company, join us!


The core mission of this role is to work on strategic projects within the EMEA business and aim to improve everything that we do. This will include a significant focus on the continued development, strategic direction, and improvement of the Formlabs Sales team, and related commercial interactions with our clients. Additional strategic project activities with vary with company focus but could include ownership of expansion into new markets and territories.


This role is matrixed. You need to be strong on both execution and as an influencer.


Your responsibilities:


  • Implement strategic programs - you will push strategic EMEA projects. This will include topics relating to Sales, as outlined below, and new expansion and improvement opportunities. You will need to constantly adapt to an ever-evolving environment, as we grow.
  • Make sure all Sales have the opportunity to achieve and exceed their sales quotas through education and the creating of sales strategy. You’ll work with the sellers, Marketing and Service teams to understand their requirements, and work out how best to achieve targets by a process of ongoing improvements.
  • Identify, adopt and embed a standard sales methodology, sales qualification criteria, and associated materials. As part of this work, a goal will be to increase pipeline velocity, shortening the sales cycle.
  • Think outside of the box - you’ll work with colleagues across all teams- ensuring that the end-to-end customer experience is a pleasure for all, and that we are always commercially smart.
  • Enhance and refine our processes and workflows by assessing, clarifying, and validating market trends and our customer needs on an ongoing basis, to ensure our offerings and services are following those needs and increase team effectiveness
  • You will never be satisfied, and always looking to improve our processes and approach. You’ll present plans and progress at the senior management level

Your profile:


  • You have a background in consulting, whether in a corporate environment or in a renowned consulting company.
  • You’ll have the skills to determine and roll out new sales approaches, including the targeting of important accounts and the introduction of solid account planning processes.
  • You are an executor and have a solid experience managing complex projects with different partners. You make things happen and focus on results. You will be incredibly motivated and proactive of course.
  • Experience of designing and leading sales teams for optimum performance. Understand multiple sales methodologies, and able to emphasise benefits and limitations.
  • Having an analytical background, you’ll want to measure your progress towards success and working with analytical tools is something you like
  • You are customer-obsessed and believe in creating the best experience possible for our varied customer base.
  • You are an influencer. You can drive change and action in other teams, in the right way.
  • You communicate excellently in a commercial context, both spoken and written.
  • You can resolve any disagreements yourself
  • Fluent in business English and another European language (German preferred)
