The job:

• Conceive and implement goal-oriented design across print and digital media
• Keep our visual messaging consistent and forward-looking
• Work across product, web, and design teams on multiple projects
• Manage the design and production of a high-volume of marketing collateral

You:

• Have relevant industry experience in graphic or visual design
• Solid grasp of composition, use of colour and typography
• Professional experience in desktop publishing
• Excellent at expressing design decisions to any audience
• Can think through complex questions in a formal way, proposing solutions that take into account the larger goals/needs of the business.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Sketch
• Experience working with Master Pages, Paragraph and Character Styles in InDesign
• Can identify and template repetitive work to improve quality and efficiency
• Goal-oriented, self-driven, and independent
• Comfortable working through all stages of a project (problem, ideation, execution)
• A perfectionist, albeit one who can iterate to get projects done, and knows how to balance design effort vs. project value
• Have a professional portfolio demonstrating expertise across multiple domains (print, web, video, whatever the right solution was for the challenge at hand) and a personal portfolio that shows your interests and expertise

Bonus skills:

• Experience working on a technical or hardware product
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and the nuts-and-bolts of the modern web
• 3D modeling (Rhino or Solidworks) and rendering
• Studio photography
