Director Structuring and Deal Execution (Europe) Capital Markets

Description

• Lead the strategy and structure of specific Continental European Capital Markets transactions across our key funding channels (Structured Finance, Direct Lending, Funds).
• Lead the execution of trades; including but not limited to the complete commercial and legal negotiation of the transaction, and project manage all external and internal stakeholders and processes to close the transaction within defined time frames
• Devise and lead new strategic product and structuring initiatives.Arrange and run due diligence sessions for new investors.
• Actively participate in the Global Capital Markets Strategy team.
• Work closely with the broader global Capital Markets, Risk & Analytics, Marketing and Communications teams as well as with external advisors and vendors.

• This will suit a person with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience at a premier investment bank, asset manager or hedge fund within a structuring / execution role.
• German language is a must
• Experienced in reviewing legal documents and analysing financial models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with very strong attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of structured credit and fixed income markets and experience in structuring transactions.
• Knowledge of the various regulations and concerns affecting different investors (eg Banks, Insurance Companies etc).
• Confident, presentable and able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of investors and stakeholders.
• Ambitious, dedicated and excited about working with highly motivated and smart individuals in an entrepreneurial environment.
• A can-do attitude with the energy and resolve to lead from the front and drive projects through to completion.
• This role can be based in London, Berlin or Amsterdam
