We’re looking for a Lead Director to join our Global Capital Markets Team in San Francisco or New York responsible for managing our institutional funding channels. This is a client facing structuring & execution position and will play a critical role in executing our ambitious funding strategy, with a primary focus on our structured finance offering.

• Work on global transactions with a focus on our structured finance product set
• Initiate, cultivate and lead new and existing client relationships (predominantly fixed income investors including hedge funds, mutual funds, credit funds, pension funds, insurance companies and investment banks)
• Lead the execution of trades; including commercial negotiations, project management of internal stakeholders and negotiation of legal contracts
• Manage external relationships including: investment banks, brokers, rating agencies, law firms, accountants and administrators
• Work closely with the broader global Capital Markets, Operations, Risk & Analytics, Legal and Communications teams
• Devise and lead projects and solutions to investor-related challenges, including the development of new investor products and funding solutions

• 8+ years experience at a top tier investment bank, asset manager or other sell-side institution
• ABS experience - general SPG knowledge
• Comfortable reviewing legal documents and analyzing financial models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with very strong attention to detail
• Confident, presentable and able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of investors and stakeholders
• Ambitious, dedicated and excited about working with highly motivated and smart individuals in a high-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Ability for regular travel

• CFA, FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or other relevant qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, Intex and data analysis tools (SQL, Python)
