Learning & Development Content Manager

The role:

• You will be the internal expert on learning design by recommending the most effective solution for each learning activity.
• You will manage the creation of all learning content including: e-learning, videos, learning guides and the creation of face to face training material.
• You will design storyboards, prototypes and design look and feel for documents for stakeholders helping them maximise the impact of their content.
• You will be able to research subject matter and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
• You will identify new training topics in response to business needs.
• You’ll ensure that the learning curriculum is relevant and aligned to Funding Circle’s business priorities, fit for purpose and cost effective.

You will have:

• An experience of creating, writing and designing blended development material.
• Created engaging learning activities and compelling course content using gamification, story and video that enhance the learning process.
• The ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts.
• An in-depth knowledge of learning theories.
• A good understanding of the Instructional Design principles used to design online learning content.
• Worked with People Team colleagues to identify training needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• A collaborative approach to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong time management, planning, organisation and prioritisation skills and track budgets and resources.
• Strong creative writing skills and a superb attention to detail.
• A solution based mind-set, prepared to think around problems to find solutions.

Desired:

• Knowledge of e-Learning systems (Litmos and LinkedIn Learning would be an advantage).
• A background or working knowledge of compliance and financial services regulatory requirements.
• An interest in different online learning solutions and a desire to stay up to date on the latest technologies.
• A champion of new and innovative learning approaches.
• The ability to work with teams across multiple geographies.

Location:

You will be based in our central London office (Mansion House), with an option to work from home some of the week.

Work pattern:

This is a permanent role.  The role can be considered on a part time or job share basis.  Please speak to our TA partner about the working pattern that works best for you.
