What will you be doing?
- Building Funding Circle’s presence in Netherlands by establishing a network of partners. Potential partnerships range from banks, accountancies, other Fintech startups, brokerages and more
- You will be responsible for increasing the volume of SME customers that reach Funding Circle via these partners
- Searching for, acquiring and building new relationships via your existing network, face to face contact, telephone, LinkedIn and email
- Helping to develop and implement an acquisition strategy (incl. which relationships and networks to target, how to acquire new partners, and assist with campaign/event planning)
What will you bring to the role?
Proven track record of business development/sales experience with financial services
Experience working in SME financials services would be highly advantageous
Both a hunter and farmer, with an appetite to build something long-lasting from the start
Presence of an existing network of business contacts would be highly advantageous
Experience explaining products or services to businesses and partners
Excellent relationship building and written and oral communication ability (ability to lead and control a phone discussion/negotiation/closing to ensure efficiency)
Dedicated approach and self-starter, with a high level of working autonomously
Ability to work towards KPIs, hit and exceed sales targets
Strong presentation and organisational skills, with a flexible attitude towards working hours and travel within the Netherlands
- Fluent Dutch and English, written and spoken, are essential
