Architect and develop the next generation of our financial infrastructure platform built on cutting edge technologies with a distributed systems architecture. We are not shy to fail fast and learn quickly. You’ll be expected to forge deep bonds with your business counterparts to truly understand the needs of our Borrowers and Investors and be generous with your time and expertise to teach partners and our fellow engineers how to answer their own questions with tools you build. We are a passionate team working on building customer-centric, mission-critical, highly-scalable, streaming apps to enable our business to expand globally.

• Software engineering, architecture and working on collaborative teams in developing robust & scalable systems.
• Programming experience in languages such as: Clojure, Go, Java, Groovy, Python, Ruby, Scala
• Hands-on coding skills and experience with coding best practices and guidelines.
• Experience in collaborating with product teams and The Business, ensuring code quality and iterative lean delivery.
• Experience with a variety of distributed systems (such as Kafka), stream processing and building business critical, highly scalable, fault-tolerant software.

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, particularly finance.
• Familiarity with Docker, Mesos, and/or experience with distributed database systems.
• Github or other open source code we can check out.
