(Senior) Business Intelligence Engineer (m/f/d)

Our Business Intelligence team has the mission of making data available to everybody who needs it and to enable our teams to take data driven decisions. For this purpose, we develop state-of-the-art tools, such as powerful business data warehouse in Redshift and a Tableau instance serving as the central reporting repository of the company. 

Your Responsibilities

• You will further develop, scale and operate our cloud based BI Data Warehouses using latest technologies (e.g. Redshift, Airflow, RDS)
• You will work closely with business stakeholders create data pipelines from the data lake to reporting and modelling tools
• You will be the architect of the data warehouse schema / data model to ensure it is up to date with the latest technologies and best practices
• You will work with BI analysts, supporting them to derive insights
• You review peers' work quality and act as mentor for more junior colleagues
• You will provide suggestions on how the team can leverage new technologies and architectures to improve the data platform or new methodologies to improve the team performance

Your Profile

• 3-5 years of hands on experience building data warehouses and BI solutions
• Excellent Knowledge of SQL and Python
• A passion for emerging technologies
• Experience with AWS services and Tableau is preferable
• Exposure to e-commerce is preferable
• Willingness to work in an agile team
