About the Role

This position is responsible for collaborating with and providing financial / analytical support to primarily International (non-U.S.) senior management at Houzz. This position partners with the International team to budget/forecast monthly/quarterly/annual/long-range revenue, operating expense and capital expenditures, analyze actual results, and work with Accounting to ensure proper coding and treatment of related expenses. Additionally, this position requires the ongoing development and maintenance of key performance initiative (KPI) metrics and reports that will help the International team manage its day-to-day business. This position reports directly to the Finance Director, International.

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement best-in-class processes and tools to support International operational and financial planning including but not limited to: annual budgeting by geography, revenue stream and department; financial forecasting including full International P/L or operating income/contribution statement and key performance metrics

Partner with US FP&A and corporate teams to create synergies in planning activities

Develop and maintain financial models to support operations, planning, and forecasting

Partner with FP&A and Sales management and peers to define and implement standard approaches to operational and financial analysis of business

Present financial plans, analyses and forecasts to International and US management

Advise the Accounts Payable team to ensure proper coding and treatment of expenses according to multiple geographies and entities

Provide support to set Commercial goals at individual level for the whole international team.

Review compensation structures on a quarterly basis

Perform and deliver International results reporting including daily/weekly/monthly scorecard generation, monthly results package and variance analysis

Provide support for recurring Corporate reporting, analysis

Partner with U.S. FP&A team to develop and maintain operational and financial KPIs / dashboards for International line and senior management

Perform regional expense analysis, including researching actuals, tracking expenses to budget and communicating accruals

At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

3+ years investment banking, accounting and/or FP&A experience

Ability to work independently within a decentralized team

Extensive data mining, data base query and spreadsheet modeling experience as well as capacity to learn database/query tools/techniques

Demonstrated leadership experience

Strong communication and analytical skills

Project management skills

Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, etc.)

Strong proficiency with MS Office tools
